is a grocery store that also sells furniture. It is very inexpensive.
It is small so doesn't have everything, but a lot of basics as far as food goes.
Few clothing items and misc.
Taking I 15 south to Rancho California Road....
Make a right (west) on Rancho California Road Cross Jefferson. Take first right after Jefferson... on Diaz Road. Big Brown Bldg. will be on your left not too far down.
Sign "VFW" in front. Go to back of building.
On left side is place where you can pay $20.00 per box of food which they will fill for you.
You also get to choose a few things. They will also give you two gallons of 2% milk and a few other things.
I have done it! Great stuff! Tons. Amazing deal! Will feed a family of four for a week or so. You may buy as many as you want.
In the middle is a small thrift store with miscellaneous household items and some great deals on furniture. Not a ton to choose from, but worth looking.
On the right is a small grocery thrift store with great deals. Lots of staples. You choose your own. Very friendly staff throughout!

There is a wonderful, low-cost food distribution center in our community called
WESTERN EAGLE FOUNDATION. You pay $20 for a large box of food. The food is
pre-selected, and dependant upon donations from local food suppliers, so the contents of the box changes regularly. This is a WONDERFUL deal for those in our community who are in need of help with their groceries. This service operates on the honor system, as they DO NOT require you to prove your income, and is completely
anonymous. Anyone can go and buy food at this low price, but they ask that only those in need use this service so that there is enough for every family who
needs it.
