Lev's Ultimate Antenna
"This antenna design is the True Beauty that was hidden in Simplicity" Christopher
Perfect
theremin pitch linearity has always been possible, why would it reveal
itself now?
For $10 in
material you will witness the greatest theremin phenomenon in 80
years.
.

For easy Theremin tuning, playability and
linear intervals from the outside right up next to your Antenna
use my $10 Lev Antenna design with these three theremins, the 850 kHz
RS Ultimate 2,
the Theremaniac or the 790 kHz PAiA Theremax.
This antenna surpasses the performance of the deceased

"When you have linearity
the very low notes will play a crisp vibrato."
Observation of
a Master in Training:
"The
ideal Theremin antenna would have no sensitivity
to up-down and sideways motion and have linear
sensitivity directly to and from the rod.
High-end Theremins tend to come closer to these
"ideal" characteristics."

Linearity is the
non-tactile precision note control of the theremin. I adjust my Ultimate
2 theremin to play one octave lower with my hand closed which gives me a
predictable one octave higher jump snapping my fingers open. One
octave of notes is held in the fingers of my hand. Master
those seven and play with the same accuracy anywhere in the
theremin playing field. "RCA
- The theremin is as easy to play as it is to whistle!"
"This
is true, did Lev hold back
knowledge from RCA for reasons only known to him?"
.
| What will perfect linearity
from the Lev Antenna do? It allows the hand positions used in aerial fingering to
have the same note
repeatability at 15" (38
cm) from the antenna as it does 5" (13
cm) from the antenna. You play the
same effective Vibrato on a low note like C1 as a high note next to the antenna.
Play accurately while octave jumping. Do you ever notice most Thereminist
seem stuck on playing less than two controlled octaves? levbrato1.mp3 .mp3

Vibrato is identical anywhere in a linear pitch field while the
note spread has the same octave width anywhere.
|
The pitch or "null" adjuster allows you to narrow the octave width to match the size
of your hand for aerial fingering.
LINKS is short for "Linear Ideal Note Key Spacing". When
LINKS is achieved your theremin notes can match the piano keyboard key for
key from C1 to C4 with A2 at 16" (40.6 cm)
distance from the antenna.
